Snow in Atlanta!

Yes, it finally happened. After living 2.5 years in Atlanta there was finally some snow. And  not only once but twice! The few cm of snow wreaked havoc and caused chaos for all adults with closed roads, airports, shops, offices etc but the children had a lot of fun. Daddy was stuck in Boston during the first storm, but managed to get back before all the snow had melted. After the second storm the little family decided to go up to the North Carolina "mountains" to make sure they could enjoy the snow fully.

Here's a sample of all the fun that was had in both Atlanta and in Catalooche in North Carolina:

One morning everyone woke up to an Atlanta covered in snow

The backyard looks like a scene from ... Finland

All the children had lots of fun in the snow. Roads turned into  sledging slopes!

Morgan had lots of fun riding with mummy!

You can even ride a car in the snow!

 But nothing beats sledging!

Daddy arrives from Boston and joins in on the fun

Daddy even takes Morgan for an icy bike ride; Nothing beats sliding with the bike!

But the winter weather is also perfect for making pizza at home. With schools and offices closed some fun time can be spent together!

In North Carolina we get a really nice cottage!

Morgan, Emily and Addie all go to ski-school for the first time; Very confident smiles indeed ;-)

In ski-school Morgan learns to make a V (or "a pizza" as it's called over here)

He also gets to ride with daddy, both with and without skis...

But most fun of all is playing in the snow..

It's so fun you never want to stop....
