The new house (moving in and out)

After a few days at the hospital it was finally time to come home! Morgan and Daddy came to pick up the girls from the hospital and Melissa got to move home! It didn't last long however; 4 days later we moved to our new home! This was no easy feat, but with the help of our good friends and a moving company we managed. This was a very exciting experience for the whole family and in particular for Morgy. Here are a few pictures...

The hospital exit is very dramatic with Mummy in a wheelchair

For mummy and Melissa it feels good to get some fresh air!

At home a little present waits for Morgan: a big brother bike!

Daddy barely has time to show Morgy where the brakes are before he's off

Melissa doesn't seem disturbed by the new environment (or anything else for that matter)

Even in the company of Sniff she continues to sleep

During the few next days packing boxes is the main activity (besides breastfeeding and changing diapers of course)

Then finally on the Saturday June 7, daddy woke up early to buy some breakfast. And while daddy is helping the movers in the old hom, mummy and the kids get to have their first meal in the new home!

Morgan enjoyed his first bagel in the new house

After the nice breakfast Morgan, Melissa and Mummy got to work and headed to Home Depot

Then Tom showed up to install a new floor in the laundry room.

Finally daddy arrived with the movers. Morgan does his best to help...

...but he realises that trucks are too big for him!

Melissa's little feet look very cute but aren't much help to move in

The new backyard is "approved" by the kids as a fun place to play

The Dempsey ladies are the first guests in the new home

You gotta do what you gotta do

All this work is simply exhausting...

but we still share a bottle of champagne with the frenchies

As we clear out the old house we have some great babysitters

All in all it was a lot of work but we are happy to be in our new home!!!
