Morgan's first trip with daddy

Morgan has had many adventures already, but now it was time for the ultimate adventure, a trip with just daddy ;-) Daddy was going to Finland for work and since mummy was away as well Morgan got to join daddy to visit some of his family in Finland. The trip was a success, the Finns were really happy to see Morgy and Morgy.... well he's always happy anyway. He did get to experience some new things though. And travelling with daddy was easier than expected (at least travelling with Morgy was easier than expected for daddy).

Here's a summary of the trip:

After charming the ground and onboard personnel Morgy is happily enjoying blueberries for the first time in the plane. He also got a nice new bib from Finnair.

At farmor Benita's place Morgan got a nice blanket to play on. That was definitely fun!

Farmor Benita had also bought a new pushchair for Morgy. He got to enjoy some nice walks in the cold Finnish weather.

Farmor had also invested in a new chair for Morgan!! He enjoyed many meals in the chair.

And it was really fun to play with faster Anna and the dogs Roxy and Ida. Although the dogs were a bit big and scary..

Then it was time for another walk, Morgan needed to dress for both cold and sunshine... here's the result.

Morgan really enjoyed walking with the dogs, maybe he can hold their leashes the next time??

Morgan even got to participate in the family dinner, here with fasters Anna and Lotta!

The following day Morgan was reading the newspaper at the breakfast table...

Then he got to meet gammel-mormor again!

And gammel-morfar. And to Morgan's great amusement Milla the dog also joined the gathering.

Then Morgan got to go swimming with farfar Bengt and faster Lotta (and daddy). Morgan found something really interesting in the swimming pool....

It needed to be examined thoroughly...

He even sang a serenade to the motion detector mechanism for the massage jet.

Roald also got to meet his good friend Viktor while the daddys were watching ice-hockey. Viktor and Morgan refused to pose for the photos though so all we've got is their backs...

Then it was time to leave and Morgan got to play with the train for one last time..

After a nice meal and small siesta in the plane a happy Morgan awakens.

And an even happier Morgan is happy to be back in the Parisian metro again :)

1st of May celebrations

As is the custom in Finland, Morgan celebrated 1st of May by having a picnic in the sunny St Cloud park. Before going to the park we of course celebrated Valborg on the 30th of April in the Finnish restaurant Mille Lacs. As is also customary there is no evidence from this event...

On the 1st of May we started by having a cleansing operation in the swimming pool so that Morgan would be clean after the long long winter. This went well and it was a happy and clean Morgan that found his way to the park.

Before going out a sturdy breakfast is needed. Moose the cat is also hungry...

Morgan swims on his own for the first time. A future Olympic champion?

He seems to enjoy it quite a bit... (we think)

In the park, daddy is wearing a funny hat with a tail....

After a few aquavit shots, even mummy joins the picture.

You can't drink champagne without...strawberries. Morgan gets his first taste of strawberries.

Morgan had lots of fun playing with Nils and Lea.

But the highlight of the trip was without a doubt the grass eating. Morgan just loved the grass.

Morgan's first Easter: sun, sea, family and... grass

Hunting eggs is still a bit difficult for Morgy (who moves at a pace of 20cm/h) so mummy and daddy decided to find other activities for his first Easter. One day was spent going to the sea and in particular to an ornitological park and another great day was spent (lazily) in the closest park in Bois de Vincennes.

After a long car ride everyone was thirsty by the time we got to the sea

5 min into the park Morgy decided to call the attention away from the bird watching

Admittedly watching Morgan's facial expression is much more fun!

Later we stopped for a little snack, well at least Morgan did

Outside the park the men continue bird watching (this time it's a chicken) thus missing the beautiful sunset

The following day Morgan is eager to go out, he just needs to convince daddy first

Feels like Venice, but it isn't... picnic on the bois de Vincennes island

With a glass of perrier (Morgan got selected for the next Perrier commercial)

Then it was time for lunch, consiting of a nice banana-apple compote

A bit of fun and games in the sunshine

And a major new discovery: grass!

It feels good to walk in the grass with bare feet...

But nothing better than a family moment... hold on, where's mummy?
